Hi! I’m Angelica

FOLLOW ME ON MY JOURNEY IN FAITH AND HOMESTEADING

I’d like to introduce you to my imperfect, yet blessed life. Many believe that following Jesus or living an intentional life requires perfection. But I’m here to show you that’s not the case. No one is perfect but Jesus. I’m a work in progress-struggling with sin, self-doubt, and anxiety. I question God, and I stumble. But the beauty of God’s love, forgiveness and mercy is that they never waver, even when I do.

As someone who battles depression and anxiety, I understand how these struggles can impact your relationship with God and your daily life. But I have also seen how choosing intentionality, even in small ways, can bring hope and healing. My goal is to help others who feel the weight of imperfection and mental health challenges. Whether you’re seeking to deepen your faith, cope with mental health struggles, or simply live a more purposeful life, I’m here to support and encourage you. You are not alone.

One way I would like to embrace intentionality is through homesteading. My dream is slowly coming to life starting just in my parents basement. Homesteading to me is about connecting with God’s creation, living the way he intended, learning patience, and finding joy in meaningful work. Starting small and slow has taught me to celebrate progress over perfection- a lesson I work on every day and would like to carry into my everyday life.

Join me on this journey as I share my experiences, from growing closer to Jesus, to establishing my first sourdough starter and baking my first loaf. I’m excited to connect and inspire you to embrace your own journey—messy, beautiful, and full of grace—as we navigate the challenges and triumphs together. Each step we take can be a testament to our faith, reminding us to find joy in the little things, even in the midst of chaos. I hope to encourage you to live intentionally through Jesus, cultivating a spirit of gratitude and mindfulness in your daily life, even when life feels overwhelming. Let’s explore the ways that faith can be woven into our everyday routines, adding depth and meaning to our experiences.

Grow with me, one step at a time. I would love to hear your story :)!

Best, Angelica

About me

Hi! I want to share a little bit about me. I am 27 years old. I am blessed with a fur baby, Bandit (Pictured above). I love to crochet and bake. My dream is to start my own homestead and help people around me.

My Journey

I am going to be honest, I am pretty new to a life with Jesus. God blessed me with best friends that encouraged me and motivated me to strengthen my relationship with Jesus. I want to share from the start while I’m still figuring it out.

Blogging

My goal is to help others by letting them know they are not alone. I am not perfect, I sin, I make mistakes, but I still try. I hope by sharing my experience, I can remind others to keep their faith and encourage them to grow closer to God.

Homestead

My dream is to buy some land and start a homestead. I want to live the way God intended. Along with sharing my walk in faith, I hope I can share my ups and downs of living a sustainable life. Learn with me or learn from my mistakes.

I am able to do all things through him who strengthens me

Philippians 4:13

1I lift my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from?2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.’ Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me”

2 Corinthians 12:9

4Love is patient, love is kind, love does not envy, is not boastful, is not arrogant, 5is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not irritable, and does not keep a record of wrongs. 6Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth. 7It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

“but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint.”

Isaiahh 40:31?

11‘For I know the plans I have for you’-this is the Lord’s declaration-‘plans for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12You will call to me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.'”

Jeremiah 29: 11-13

The Power of Prayer

Prayer is a powerful way to communicate with God, mentioned over 650 times in the Bible. It is a personal and intimate dialogue that fosters a deeper relationship with him. Come to God with faith, humility, and persistence and remember he is always listening. Ask him questions, thank him for his provisions, repent and ask for forgiveness. If you need or want someone to pray for you, visit our Prayer Wall and let us lift you up.
